Hakomi practitioner and trainer
North and Central London, United Kingdom
Associated with the Center for Applied Mindfulness
My first experience of Hakomi was in 1992 during a bodywork training that integrated parts of the method to form the basis for sustaining and working in the client-practitioner relationship. Hakomi’s gentle principles and respectful exploratory nature was a powerful influence and began an ongoing journey that has lead to me becoming a practitioner and trainer of the method. Hakomi encourages deep acceptance of things as they are — while still being able to find the edges where change and growth can happen. With the help of the Hakomi and the people attracted to it, I have drop by drop, learned to suffer less and to be happier.
